HOLLY LATVIA, PSYCHIC DETECTIVE
There’s nothing quite like learning you’re dead, especially while you’re naked and dripping all over your new carpet. “I’m sorry, did you say dead?”
Male, bored, and with an IQ lower than the budgie I had in sixth grade, the voice on the other end droned: “You are Holly Latvia?”
“Yes.”
“In that case, you died yesterday afternoon.”
That’s right: my charming twin sister, not content to ruin her own name plus three aliases, had stolen mine at last. And that’s how, thirteen pages of paperwork later, I found myself in the middle of the desert in a country I’d never heard of, gaping at a business card with my name on it.

One last time, Holly Latvia promises herself as she travels across the world to dismantle her sister’s detective agency. Never again will she find herself scrambling to pick up the pieces in her twin’s wake. But Holly finds more than a scam when she discovers a heartfelt letter in Gail’s desk — a letter warning Holly that her twin’s death isn’t as accidental as it seems. Faced with the choice between learning the truth about what happened to her sister and retreating to her safe and solid life, Holly finds herself entangled in a plot to achieve the world’s oldest ends — riches and fame — through means so depraved that not even Holly can ignore them….
THE LONG DARK ROAD

She stared straight ahead at the rapidly vanishing yellow lines on the highway. “Why’d you do it?”
He took another long drag, rolled down the window, and flicked the butt away. The shock of cold air acted like a slap in the face. Alert, Katie leaned back and watched him, wrapping her arms around herself for warmth.
He took his time rolling up the window, checking the rearview mirror, fiddling with something on the dashboard. “Do what?”
He wanted it spelled out? Fine. “Kill him.”

Three months ago, Katie Woods left the gypsy caravan and returned with a secret — a secret she dares not entrust to even her closest friends. Sheltering behind her family, she begins to rebuild her life until the police show up with an accusation. The man responsible for brutally assaulting Katie has been murdered — and she’s the prime suspect.
Katie knows she didn’t kill her assailant, and she’s far from eager to help the police learn who did. For her own sake, however, she realizes she’d better find the murderer before she winds up in prison. But will she be able to live with the truth once she learns it?
